SKOAL Bandit

1988 GSXR 1100

This project took 11 months to complete. Engine was removed from the frame and all aluminum parts including the frame were sent out to get anodized. All bodywork was sanded down and epoxy primed and repainted in a 4 color pearl scheme depicting the SKOAL BANDIT by CCR. Everything you see is paint, no decals. Paint stencils were provided by Tapeworks.com. The paint job was sanded and recleared with 5 coats of HOC high solids clear. You can run your finger over the graphics and not feel any paint lines or ridges. The clear coat was wetsanded with 2000 grit sandpaper, compounded and polished to a mirror finish. Cost of paint (50 hrs) aprox $4000.00. Cost of complete job, nearing $8000.00 better pics are coming, this bike is one of the best examples of its kind in the US.
