Frequently asked

How much does a custom paint job cost?
It depends entirely on the parts, the amount of repair work needed, and the complexity of the design. A single solid-color fairing panel is a very different job from a full candy-and-flake tank with murals. Email photos and a description and we will give you an honest estimate.
How long will my bike be down?
We typically have pieces for 10 to 15 bikes in the shop at once, so turnaround depends on the queue and the job. Straightforward repairs are usually measured in weeks; full custom work takes longer. We will give you a realistic time frame before we start.
Do I need to bring the whole bike?
No. In most cases we only need the parts being painted. Remove all clips, fasteners, hardware, lights and wiring before drop off. If we need a specific fastener or trim piece we will ask for it at the start of the job.
Can you repair cracked fairings instead of replacing them?
Almost always, and usually for far less than the cost of new bodywork. Both OEM plastic and aftermarket composite panels can be repaired properly so the repair does not telegraph through the paint.
Can you match my factory color?
Yes. We match OEM colors, including tri-coat candies and pearls, and we can blend into existing panels when only part of the bike is being refinished.
Do you do race replica graphics?
Yes, and they are painted, not decals. All lettering and graphics are stenciled and sprayed for an authentic look that clears flat.
Will you paint parts I bought elsewhere?
Yes. Aftermarket bodywork, SharkSkinz, number plates and non-stock swaps are routine here. We also fabricate custom mounting brackets when the pieces do not bolt straight on.
Do you work with dealers and shops?
Dealer inquiries are gladly welcomed. Contact us to discuss volume and turnaround.
